DIY Glitter Shoes

Fall has finally hit Los Angeles even though you can't tell by looking outside. The sun is shining bright and people are walking around in shorts and tanks (classy). But when the wind hits bare skin, there is a chill in the air. I personally love gloomy weather. Gray skies, dark clouds, ominous shadows, scarves, coats, boots are all yum.  However, a girl needs sparkle and shine so we gots to create it ourselves. I wish I could be the crazy fashionista that could afford the darling glitter miu mius. But as I am just a struggling production assistant, I cannot. The most I can do is a fabulous DIY!

PROJECT!

To begin we start off with a pair of old shoes, some glitter, and crafting glue (in my case Elmer's Glue)

Then we figure out where we want to glitterati and apply a light coat of glue. But do NOT skimp!

Apply the glitter and make sure to put a piece of paper or something down so you can use the fallen glitter on the other shoe and so you don't create a glitter mess.

Dust off excess glitter on shoe and let dry before you go out and sparkle!
